SAFE 10Y30 – RF is a smoke detector in a timeless compact design combining the latest hardware and software technologies applied to the functional design of an intelligent detector representing a new level of standard in residential fire safety.
The detector includes an integrated RF module, which thanks to the function CONNECTED allows you to wirelessly connect two or more FireSafe detectors to create an interconnected wireless network. In this case, if one of the devices triggers an alarm, it will send a radio signal and all other FireSafe units connected in the network will respond to the alarm.
The Hub FireSafe intelligent central control unit can be added to the wireless network. These units then allow convenient setup and control of the complex FireSafe system remotely via an intuitive free mobile app (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets and more. The Hub monitors the activity of all connected FireSafe detectors and devices, and immediately notifies system users via push notifications if a hazard is detected.
A dual-spectral optical sensor with blue and infrared LED sources with different wavelengths was integrated into the dust and insect resistant, smoke detection chamber. The design of the chamber with direct link to the AI SAFE microprocessor thus offers the most reliable detection method, which, combined with a prediction algorithm, allows the measurement of microparticle concentrations directly in the air and in real time. This unique technology can thus determine the size of volatile particles inside the optical chamber and respond only to the real threat of smoke, ignoring the similar composition of water vapour or other fumes.
For fire detection systems in residential buildings, the priority is to inform people in good time about the real danger. The AI SAFE microprocessor was developed based on a detailed analysis of the combustion properties of materials and works with a prediction algorithm that compares data from a dual-spectrum optical sensor and filters out the potential for false alarms in real time. If the recorded data corresponds to liquid water vapour particles or other types of fumes the detector will not respond. However, if the dynamics of the data pattern matches the actual smoke particulate parameters of the fire the detector will immediately trigger a fire alarm.
If the smoke concentration reaches the set value during detection, the detector automatically triggers a loud 85 dB alarm signal, accompanied by a flashing red LED indicator to indicate a fire alarm. This is a targeted way of attracting the attention of building occupants by means of a high noise level and an intense LED signaling that a fire has started in some part of the building. The purpose of a fire alarm is to immediately respond to an alarm event or to move people from the scene of an emergency to a safe zone.
The detector has a combined button with TEST and SILENCE function, which is designed to test and verify the correct functioning of the device, as well as to temporarily silence the detector. If you know the cause of the fire alarm activation and need to silence the loud siren sound, there is no need to go to the detector itself to silence it using the button. SIC technology allows you to remotely silence the alarm by pressing any button on a standard IR remote control (most home appliance remotes, such as TV remotes).
The detector's electronic components and circuit board are coated with an insulating and protective layer of paint with IZOVAX nanoparticles, and thanks to the innovative technology of the dual-spectrum optical sensing chamber, which can distinguish smoke particles from water vapour, the device can be installed in very humid environments (near bathrooms, drying rooms, kitchens or technical rooms), unlike conventional fire detectors.
The power supply is provided by an integrated 3V lithium battery (built-in, non-removable) guaranteeing extremely long detector operation for more than 10 years. Battery operation allows for quick and easy installation and ensures proper operation of the smoke and fire detector for more than 10 years after activation. Activation of the power battery occurs after the detector is placed and secured in the mounting bracket. After 10 years of protection and with 30 days notice, the detector will notify you of the end of life and automatically alert you that it needs to be replaced. The extended 10-year warranty covers both the battery and the device itself.
