The camera can operate completely autonomously, as part of a FireSAFE fire system or as part of a ProSAFE alarm system.

Two sensors and double protection

One of the key features of this camera is its ability to combine multiple functions into one device, making it extremely versatile and effective for a variety of applications. The SAFE Turret Cam AI is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern security technology, thanks to its unique design and advanced features. This camera is equipped with two sensors - optical and thermal - allowing it to provide not only traditional area of interest monitoring, but also advanced features such as flame detection and temperature measurement. In this way, the camera can provide comprehensive surveillance while helping to prevent dangerous situations such as fires or other temperature anomalies.

Optical sensor for close monitoring

It is used to capture a standard high-resolution image, which allows detailed observation of the monitored area. This sensor provides a vivid image that is ideal for common surveillance monitoring purposes such as tracking the movement of people, animals, vehicles or other objects in real time. The high resolution makes it easy to identify different types of details that can be crucial, for example, when investigating certain types of incidents. An optical sensor is therefore indispensable for the daily surveillance of areas of interest, be it public areas, industrial facilities or private properties.

Thermal sensor for monitoring temperature anomalies

The second sensor, thermal, brings a whole new dimension to monitoring. This sensor is capable of detecting temperature differences in the monitored area, which is key to identifying potential risks such as overheating equipment, batteries, heat leaks or even incipient fires. Thermal imaging allows you to monitor temperature anomalies that would otherwise not be visible to the naked eye or through a standard visible sensor. This feature is particularly useful wherever PV battery storage, storage, parking or charging of electric vehicles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, batteries or similar devices occur. In short, wherever early detection of temperature changes can prevent serious damage to property or endanger human life.

Intelligent flame detection for locating incipient fires

The SAFE Turret Cam AI is a modern IP camera that offers, among other things, advanced flame detection and tracking features, up to a distance of 10 m with a flame size of 10 x 10 cm. This means that it is able to reliably detect even relatively small flames over a considerable distance. This makes the camera an ideal tool for monitoring and preventing fires in different types of environments where flame detection and movement can be crucial, especially in situations where a fire needs to be located quickly and a response to the emerging danger needs to be made immediately. Examples include garages, homes, warehouses, utility rooms or other high risk areas where fire hazards may occur.

He can manage even where others fail

The SAFE Turret Cam AI thermal sensor is one of the most advanced and effective tools used in monitoring and security today. Its capabilities are particularly useful in situations where visibility is significantly reduced, such as at night, in heavy fog, rain or other adverse weather conditions. Unlike standard surveillance IP cameras that are dependent on lighting conditions or where the human eye fails, the thermal sensor comes as an invaluable aid. Thanks to its technology that is based on thermal radiation detection, this sensor can reliably identify objects that emit heat, even in complete darkness or in environments where visibility is zero.

Unconventionally with thermals

Unlike standard IP surveillance cameras, which are dependent on lighting conditions and often require additional lighting to function properly, SAFE Turret Cam AIs work in a completely different way. The key component is a thermal chip that is capable of capturing infrared radiation emitted by objects. Any object that has a temperature higher than absolute zero emits a certain amount of infrared radiation. The thermal chip captures this radiation and converts it into a visual form, allowing operators or automated systems to easily detect heat signatures that may indicate the presence of a person, animal or other object.

When you require real security

Thermal detection capability is particularly important in security applications where it is crucial to quickly and accurately identify potential threats. For example, at night, when visibility is limited and traditional cameras often fail, a thermal sensor can detect intruders trying to hide in shadows or behind obstacles. This makes it possible to ensure continuous surveillance of areas of interest, even in the most challenging conditions. Thus, thermal sensors find application not only in commercial and industrial facilities, but also in residential areas where maximum security needs to be ensured.

Intercom and voice alert messaging system

The SAFE IP camera is equipped with an intercom function, which enables two-way voice communication between the App user and the monitored area via FireSAFE or ProSAFE. This function is implemented via the camera's integrated microphone and speaker. The device also features, among other things, a voice alert messaging system. In case of danger, malfunction or important changes in the network or system, it will inform its user about the current situation through various types of voice messages in the form of human voice.

Automatic responses to events

Thanks to the alarm input and output port, other peripherals of the FireSAFE or ProSAFE fire alarm system can be connected to the camera, such as combustible gas detectors, PIR motion sensors, magnetic door contacts or other peripherals to automate responses to various types of events. In this case, when the connected device detects an event (for example, it detects gas, a door opening or detects motion), it sends a signal to the camera, which can trigger a pre-configured action based on that signal (send an alert to the application user, activate a recording or alarm output device in the form of a siren, beacon light, fans, etc.).
