Thanks to the Transformers cover, which was designed as a 2-in-1 combination, the Water Guard can be installed freely by simply placing it on the floor of the at-risk location where there is a danger of water leakage, or it can be securely fastened using a smart wall bracket to prevent it from being washed away in case of rapid water flooding. In such a case, only the sensor equipped with 3 water detection contacts remains lying on the floor, while the detector itself remains safely installed at the appropriate height secured in the smart bracket. The water-resistant detector housing with IPX5 rating is highly resistant to moisture and splashing water from any direction.

Water Guard is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor, which not only provides an overview of current temperature conditions at the installation site, but also offers the ability to alert when preset temperature limits are exceeded – whether it is excessively high or low temperature. As soon as the temperature returns to the set range, the user receives information about the restoration of normal conditions. This practical function ensures efficient delivery of information when needed in relation to monitoring the temperature of the monitored space and can, for example, detect temperature anomalies during floor heating failures.

For immediate information about the scope and severity of an alarm event related to water leakage or flooding, a link to scenarios on other security system components can be activated in the ProSAFE application. A motion detector with a photo camera allows you to automatically capture and send images, while an intelligent IP camera offers live video monitoring of the affected area. Through visual photo or video verification of the alarm event, you can minimize the extent of damage, for example in technical rooms, spaces with filtration tanks for pools, accumulation tanks, water reservoirs, boilers, etc.

The flood detector is powered by a single replaceable CR123A battery, which thanks to an efficient energy management mechanism enables continuous operation for an extremely long period of up to 3 years without the need for battery replacement. In the ProSAFE mobile app, you can monitor the current status of information transmitted by the detector, such as battery status, radio signal level, room temperature indication, and information about generated events.
