Smart Radio Signal Extender

SAFE Rep

SAFE Rep is a smart radio signal repeater of the SAFE security system. Thick concrete walls, large spaces, or complex building layouts – all of this can significantly weaken the reliability of wireless communication. Rep was developed precisely for this purpose, a radio repeater that extends the range of the SAFE security system's communication to places where the signal would not reach on its own. By connecting all or some devices to the repeater, you ensure protection of shopping centers, large facilities, warehouse complexes, or extensive production halls. Rep essentially functions as an intelligent intermediary between selected system peripherals and the SAFE central control panel. It receives signals from connected devices and transmits them bidirectionally to the central unit, including image and audio data or photographs taken on demand or when an alarm is triggered.
Description of the Device
When the Signal Isn't Enough, Rep Comes In
Up to 4 Rep repeaters can be connected to one SAFE system, which in cooperation with the central unit are capable of covering a radio network area exceeding 40 km². The intelligent range extender for radio signal Rep allows users to place SAFE devices at a considerable distance from the central unit (Hub) for stable communication coverage of the security system in industrial halls with massive structures, in multi-story buildings, or in facilities with large distances between individual system components. In short, everywhere that conventional wireless connection reaches its physical limits. By simply adding a repeater to an existing installation, you gain stable and reliable coverage of the entire facility without the need for complex cabling.

Three Ways to Reliable Security
Every security system is only as strong as its weakest link. That's why in the SAFE system we designed the signal repeater Rep so that this weak point simply doesn't exist. Rep has three independent communication channels – Ethernet, Wi-Fi and RF signal. This in itself is nothing exceptional. What is exceptional is something else: all three channels can be active simultaneously. While conventional systems switch between backup paths only in the event of a failure, Rep maintains concurrent connection with the control panel continuously, thereby achieving true redundancy and maximum reliability in securing extended communication. The system does not communicate via one path, but via a network of paths, where backup solutions are not an exception, but part of normal operation.
When Radio Signal Is Not Enough
SAFE Rep can connect to the central unit (hub) not only via RF – radio, but also via Ethernet cable or internal Wi-Fi – three simultaneous communication channels are thus available. If the radio signal fails, Rep continues to communicate via cable and Wi-Fi. If the cable fails, it works via RF and Wi-Fi, etc. The system remains online under all circumstances. The signal repeater also features an "offline linkage" function, which allows security system peripherals paired with the SAFE Rep repeater to perform security actions (such as siren activation) even if the repeater loses connection with the central control panel.
Image and Audio Data Transfer
Rep cooperates with a PIR motion detector with photo verification (Motion Cam, Motion Cam Outdoor) and other peripherals of the SAFE security system that support the exchange of image and audio data or photographs. In case of an alarm, the PIR detector captures a series of images and sends them through the Rep repeater to the user's ProSAFE application or to the ARC within just 7 seconds of the alarm being triggered. Both the user and the ARC operator can see and evaluate the current situation and decide on an appropriate response – without unnecessary dispatch to false alarms or to establish two-way communication with the alarm location, for example via the SAFE intercom siren.
Resistance to Attacks and Interference
SAFE Rep is designed to protect the facility not only against physical intrusion, but also against advanced digital threats, both at the software and hardware level. Frequency hopping and automatic power regulation prevent interference and eavesdropping. Cybersecurity ensures the impossibility of system penetration via the internet or local network. The repeater uses a high degree of encryption and secure communication protocols. Connection processes are authenticated. Firmware protection and secured update procedures make remote system penetration difficult. Updates fix potential security vulnerabilities and increase resilience against new types of digital threats.
