The Keypad Plus is a wireless, backlit, touch-sensitive keypad that allows easy control of the alarm system using touch keys or encrypted contactless chips. In a crisis situation, it can also trigger an emergency alarm, a fire alarm or an alarm to summon medical assistance. The keypad is equipped with password guessing protection, which automatically locks the keypad after several unsuccessful attempts to enter the code. The current status information of the security system can then be indicated by individual LED indicators.
Keypad Plus brings intuitive and easy control of the ProSAFE alarm system. Thanks to the integrated Mifare RFID chip reader, the device enables key operations such as partial activation, full activation or deactivation of the system, either by entering a numeric code on the modern touchscreen keypad or by simply inserting an encrypted contactless card or key fob. This combination ensures maximum convenience and security when managing your alarm system.
Keypad Plus contactless cards or key fobs can be easily customised to your specific needs. Thanks to their simple operation, they can be used by young children and seniors alike. If necessary, you can also entrust the chips to people who work or visit you occasionally.
Whichever way the system status is changed (RFID chip , keypad code, remote control, app ...) all information about the change of system status is carefully stored and a clear history of each event is available, including identification of specific users.
By defining user permissions for individual users, you can control the entire alarm system or only selected parts of it by entering a code on the keypad or by attaching a chip. This means that, for example, a visitor can open the gate and gain access to only a specific part of the building, while other zones remain under active protection. Setting individual permissions is thus entirely in your hands. This allows you to tailor the Keypad Plus to your exact requirements, ensuring maximum security and convenience for all users.
Unlike conventional system keypads, the Keypad Plus ProSAFE brings a wide range of advanced features that enhance its utility value and security standards. Key features include transmission power amplification, which allows the radio signal range to be extended over greater distances. It also offers three types of alarms for emergency situations - emergency alarm, fire alarm and medical emergency alarm. Users can customize the intensity of the keypad LED backlighting, adjust the activation/deactivation tone, adjust the volume of the integrated siren, or check the radio signal strength status to optimize communication.
The Keypad Plus features an integrated temperature sensor, which not only provides an overview of the current temperature conditions at the installation site, but also the ability to alert you if a pre-set temperature limit is exceeded - whether it is too high or too low. Once the temperature returns to the preset range, the user is informed that normal conditions have been restored. This feature ensures that the user is effectively informed when needed, following the temperature control of the monitored area environment, and can detect unusual temperature changes that could indicate, for example, a fire or other dangerous situation.
