SAFE 808COM represents an intelligent combined detector equipped with the latest technology of electrochemical and semiconductor multifunctional second-generation sensor for detection and early warning of carbon monoxide (CO) and virtually all flammable, explosive gases (natural gas, methane, propane, butane). The device excels in stability, high sensitivity, and long service life of the sensor pair. It is ideally suited for reliable detection of gas or CO leaks from all domestic gas appliances and gas boilers.
Description of the Device
Multifunctional LCD Display
For a more comfortable overview and control of the situation in case of an alarm, the SAFE 808COM detector is equipped with a backlit color LCD display that shows not only the values of detected carbon monoxide or flammable gas in ppm units (i.e., parts per million), but also additional supplementary information, such as backup battery capacity via a bar graph, connection to the electrical network, etc. The backlit LCD display enables its users to distinguish and compare low and high values of potential danger, so they can respond adequately to the emerging situation or specify the concentration of the leak when reporting to a service organization.
Unique Voice Warning Function
It informs the user with a human voice (in Czech language) about current device states, for example: "Welcome to the flammable gas detector, please wait 3 minutes, the device is initializing." In case of danger detection, the detector's acoustic alarm signal is accompanied by repeated messages informing about the detected danger: "Please attention, carbon monoxide leak!" or "Please attention, gas leak!". Voice warning is thus an excellent helper for the user to immediately distinguish between informational messages issued by the device.
Maximum Reliability
The multifunctional integrated sensor of the detector meets the highest European safety standards and is certified and calibrated based on the EN 50194 standard (standard for electrical appliances for detecting flammable gases) without any further need for regular service calibrations. The device is microprocessor-controlled and signals gas leaks both optically and acoustically. The second-generation sensor performs continuous air testing for the presence of dangerous levels of gas concentration in the monitored area.
Uncompromising Guardian of Safety
Carbon monoxide, like most flammable and explosive gases, is odorless under normal circumstances. Therefore, in order to be easily recognizable by smell in case of a leak, most gases are colored (odorized) with special chemical substances. Whether or not the gas is odorized, the SAFE 808COM detector sensor is factory configured for reliable gas detection so as to trigger an alarm before reaching a certain concentration threshold, which in case of further increase represents a potential risk of hazard and safely protects your health and property.
Protection Even in Case of Power Failure
Semiconductor catalytic combustion sensors for detecting flammable and explosive gases require constant power supply from the electrical network. The SAFE 808COM detector is powered from a 230V / AC network, but unlike most conventional detectors, it features an integrated fast-charging converter and a compartment for placing a backup 9V NiMH battery (the battery is not included in the package as standard), which provides maximum protection for a certain period in case of a power outage.
TEST Function
The detector is equipped with a TEST button with a function that serves to artificially simulate the presence of gas and allows verification of the operational capability of internal circuits through an automatic efficiency monitoring system, testing of acoustic signalling and visual warning LED signalling.

It detects both carbon monoxide and all flammable gases commonly found in households, thus protecting you and your family from two dangerous threats at the same time.
